Angella holds a B.A. in Dance Performance & Choreography from Hope College and a M.F.A. in Dance Choreography from the University of Maryland, College Park. She has worked in an administrative capacity for the Merce Cunningham Dance Studio, the Martha Graham Center, the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center and Suzanne Callahan Consulting for the Arts. Angella currently serves as the Director of the Studio Dance Program at Greenbelt Community Center. Her work been funded by the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage Local Dance Commissioning Project and the Community Foundation for the National Capital Region.
Kelly is an experienced non-profit management professional, specializing in institutional development. Kelly has been dancing since the age of 3, studying classical ballet and modern at Infinity Ballet Conservatory and serving as Captain of the Elon University Competitive Ballroom Dance Team, Flight of the Phoenix. Kelly is currently the Donor Engagement Manager at the Washington Office on Latin America, and previously served as the Outreach Coordinator for Las Otras Hermanas, a women’s cooperative in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Kelly and her husband Matt met in the Greenbelt Dance Studio, were married on the Greenbelt Community Center lawn, and now live in Greenbelt, MD with their adorable mutt, Hobbes.
Vice President / Managing Director
Ben earned degrees in American Literature and Russian from the University of Kentucky, completing his degree in St. Petersburg, Russia. He finished the M.A. in Slavic, Eurasian, and East European Studies from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2005. He has recently served as a U.S. government advisor to state mapping agencies in Afghanistan and Mongolia, and completed a master's degree in GIS at the University of Maryland in 2013.
Treasurer / Bookkeeper
Brytt received her bachelor's degree in Business Management from Grove City College. She spent over seven years working in the U.S. Senate, handling a wide range of legislative issues while specializing in the budget and appropriations process. Most recently, Ms. Brooks worked at McLean Presbyterian Church as the Nursery Coordinator where she was responsible for overseeing over 200 volunteers on a quarterly basis.
Director of Sponsorship
Jeremy is a former reporter and editor who worked for several newspapers for more than a decade, specializing in arts and education coverage. He began dance training when he was 5, and eventually appeared in productions presented by 171 Cedar Arts Center and American Dance Asylum, both based in Corning, NY. He has lived in Greenbelt, MD since 2005.
